Size Guide
Every product page on Alle Boutique carries the sizes we stock. Where the maker publishes a measurement chart, that chart is on the product page, in both inches and centimeters. Where the maker does not publish one, we say so on the page and we do not invent measurements. This page explains how to take your own measurements so you can compare them with the chart.
How to measure
Use a soft tape measure over light clothing. Keep the tape level and comfortably close to the body without pulling it tight.
- Chest: around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms.
- Waist: around the natural waistline, the narrowest point above the hips.
- Hips: around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- Shoulder: straight across the back, from one shoulder point to the other.
- Sleeve: from the shoulder point down to the wrist, with the arm slightly bent.
- Inseam: from the top of the inner thigh down to the ankle.
- Foot length: stand on a sheet of paper and mark heel and longest toe; measure the distance between the marks.
Reading a chart
Charts list body measurements or garment measurements; the product page says which. If a garment is described as relaxed or oversized, it is cut with extra room and the chart reflects that. If you sit between two sizes, email info@alleboutique.com with your measurements and the product name, and we will tell you what we know.
Shoe sizes
Our footwear is listed in US sizes. Each boot has its own conversion table on the product page, with UK and EU equivalents and foot length in centimeters and inches, taken from the maker's chart.
